Sophia Tsui
CPA, CA, ICD.D
Sophia Tsui brings over 30 years of experience in audit and risk management as well as executive leadership to her role on CPAB’s board.
Ms. Tsui retired in December 2025 from her role as a senior risk officer with the Royal Bank of Canada. Previously, she served as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Auditor for the Canadian operations of HSBC Bank. During her career, Ms. Tsui has worked in Canada as well as the UK, where she was the Global Head of Risk Governance and Risk Appetite. In 2018, Ms. Tsui was named one of the WXN’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada.
Ms. Tsui lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
